FAQ

Common Questions

Are you our lawyer in the criminal case?

No. The State is counsel of record. We advise victims and advocate for rights under Missouri law.

Do you tell the prosecutor what to do?

We provide recommendations and ensure the victim’s voice is heard. Strategy remains with the prosecutor.

Can you sue the offender?

Civil actions (wrongful death/PI) are separate. We can refer or discuss a separate engagement.
